Drug Rehab Programs
Drug rehab programs are available in many different structures and provide a range of different treatment options to cater to the unique needs of those suffering from drug addiction. While each drug rehab program may provide different services, level of monitoring and types of treatment most use a series of counseling, therapy and aftercare as the foundation for recovery and then tailor these modalities to fit the individual needs of each patient.
Holistic Drug Rehab
Holistic drug rehab programs are rooted in the philosophy of treating the patient as a whole person and not just as someone with an addiction. These programs focus on healing the patient medically, spiritually, emotionally and physically effectively treating not just their addiction but any other conditions they may have either physically or psychologically. Holistic drug rehab programs often include art therapy, yoga, meditation, nutritional counseling and massage in addition to traditional counseling or therapy.
Inpatient Drug Rehab
Inpatient drug rehab programs offer patients with a safe and secure place where they can recover from drug addiction in a hospital like setting. These programs provide significantly more monitoring and support than an outpatient program and are most suited to those suffering from moderate to severe drug addiction. Inpatient drug rehab utilizes a series of detoxification, counseling and therapy as well as aftercare to ensure the greatest chance for the patient’s successful recovery from addiction.
Long Term Drug Rehab
Long term drug rehab programs typically last anywhere from 6 months to 2 years and are the most in depth types of treatment programs available. These programs are most suited for those heavily addicted to drugs and who have already tried a shorter term rehabilitation program and who have failed or for those who suffer from extreme mental illness in conjunction with drug addiction. Long term drug rehab programs are usually set in a more home-like setting where the patient can be comfortable for a prolonged period of time while working toward their recovery goals.
Outpatient Drug Rehab
Outpatient drug rehab programs offer the most lenient support and monitoring in the industry but this does not mean that these programs are any less effective than some of the other types of rehab programs that are available. Outpatient drug rehab programs are best suited to those who have already completed inpatient rehab or for those who are not heavily addicted to drugs. These programs provide counseling and support much like inpatient programs but on an outpatient, day to day basis.
Private Drug Rehab
Private drug rehab programs offer the safety and peace of mind that some patients need when it comes to seeking help for a drug addiction. These programs offer the highest level of privacy for patients and usually include private rooms, private bathrooms, individual counseling with limited or no group counseling requirements and additional measures to ensure the utmost discreetness of the patient and their addiction treatment.
Residential Drug Rehab
Residential drug rehab programs provide a home like setting for patients to recover from addiction through counseling and therapy that is provided by qualified specialists. These programs are much like inpatient drug rehab but they tend to be set in a large home, hotel or similar setting where the patient can feel more relaxed and not so much like they are in a hospital. Patients live in the residential facility for the duration of the treatment program which typically lasts a period of 30 days or more.
